Released on 25th May 2004, “Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)” is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Slipknot. The album peaked within the top ten in album sales across eleven countries and went Platinum in the United States. The band also received their first Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance for the song “Before I Forget”. In 2009, Metal Hammer listed it as one of the “Albums of the Decade” and the album was included in Rock Hard magazine’s book The 500 Greatest Rock & Metal Albums of All Time. The album’s cover art, featuring the “maggot mask” designed by Shawn Crahan, is now available as a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle printed on high quality board.
